This is a fab album. There are strong echoes of UK psych and sunshine pop - the songwriting and vocals remind me of the bands associated with John Pantry - high praise indeed (do grab a copy of 'the Upsidedown World of... if you haven't heard it). The Zombies and the Kinks are in there too, as well as more recent bands like Green Pajamas. The band keep it simple, which is a bonus with a psych-inflected album - they let the wonderful songwriting shine through. Buy this, pop pickers!

Comment, pourquoi ? M'enfin, ne l'avez vous donc pas écouté ? Ces ritournelles nous renvoient aux heures les plus lumineuses de l'histoire du rock'n'roll, sans pour autant être de la ressuce. krapotard
Eccentric pop that connects the dots between progressive ambient and warped video game soundtracks can only be called truly psychedelic. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 26, 2024
Continuing the momentum of 2023's acclaimed breakout "Erotic Probiotic 2," Marcus Brown brings his R&B sorcery to XL Recordings. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 24, 2024
Fuzzy, doomy, psychy garage rock goodness with a prog edge that's only been expanded on with every ORB installment, The Space Between is their best yet and my personal favourite so far. Their influences are still worn firmly on their sleeve, but in a way that feels very much their own and they can continue onwards with (rather than the quasi-Black Sabbath fan service seen on Birth).
Special shoutout to the title track and part 2 of 'Stonefruit' ("Rock Melon"); been stuck in my head for ages. Xtra Happy
